This Privacy Policy describes how Zarmis (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit this website or use the contact form. By using the site, you acknowledge this policy.

2. Who we are

3. Information we collect

• Contact form. When you submit the form, we receive the fields you enter (such as name, email address, subject, and message). A hidden field may be used to reduce automated spam.
• Technical data. Like most websites, hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information (for example IP address, browser type, and timestamps) when you load pages or submit the form. This depends on your hosting provider and how the site is deployed.
• Theme preference. If you use the light/dark toggle, your choice may be stored in your browser (for example via local storage) so the setting persists between visits.

4b. Mobile apps (Connect Four and other Zarmis apps)

Our mobile apps are available on Google Play. They are governed by this same privacy policy. Here is what those apps collect:

• No account required. Our apps do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information. No name, email, or password is ever collected.
• Local data only.Game progress, stats, achievements, streaks, and preferences are stored on your device only (via the device's local storage). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
• Advertising (Google AdMob). Our apps show ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's Advertising ID to show relevant ads. You can reset or opt out of ad personalisation at any time in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android). Google's privacy policy applies to data collected by AdMob: policies.google.com/privacy.
• Push notifications. If you grant notification permission, the app may send local reminders (for example daily puzzle alerts). These are scheduled on your device and no notification data is sent to our servers.
• No analytics SDK. We do not use Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or any other analytics service in our apps.

5. Email delivery

Contact submissions are sent by email over SMTP (for example through your host or mail provider). Messages are processed according to that provider’s terms and security practices. We configure delivery so replies can be sent to the address you provide when appropriate.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site by default. Essential cookies may be set by hosting or security infrastructure. Theme preferences may use browser storage rather than cookies.

7. Retention

Contact messages may be retained as needed to respond and for ordinary business records, unless you ask for deletion where applicable law requires or permits us to comply.
